i-education ltd win Doncaster Chamber award
i-education are announced as the winners of the "Finding New International Business" award in Doncaster Chamber's 2011 honours list at Doncaster Race Course. i-education are starting to explore the global potential of I am learning and have been recognised in this award because of work with Encyclopaedia Britannica to launch "SmartStudy" outside of the UK, high numbers of iPhone app downloads overseas (seeing us hit number 4 in China and number 1 in France for highest downloaded education app) and because of some pilot work with schools in Singapore, China and Arizona state.
We were also shortlisted for "Business of the Year" but sadly missed out this year to worthy winners (Yorkshire Wildlife Park). Having now won awards for four consecutive years we look forward to entering again next year and will hopefully make it third time lucky on the Business of the Year event.
