JISC News Film Online with Hull University

i-education were engaged, together with Hull University to develop an environment to be a dynamic community of practice which expands as users contribute their own examples and comment on those of their colleagues. In each of the exemplar learning packages there is an opportunity for you to rank the resource and, most importantly, build on the knowledge by adding your comments. We would encourage you to provide feedback and rank the resource using the star rating system.
JISC is changing the world of authoritative e-resources through its investment in digitising content from some of the UK's greatest collections. But content is only part of the answer. This web-site supports academics and other users to maximise the opportunities presented by this unprecedented access to high quality e-resources.
Featuring a series of pedagogical exemplars, (presented using a variety of different media), technical tutorials and video case studies, material is available to support different users aiming to take advantage of these resources.
At the heart of the site is a new pedagogical framework developed by staff at The University of Hull. This enables users to identify a variety of student centred learning activities (designs) that engage learners through the use of digitised artefacts. The framework, along with the supporting exemplars and other materials, offers users the opportunity to share in an active community of users, downloading, re-purposing and sharing teaching and learning materials under the terms of the appropriate licenses.
